Consideration on report of federal committee operation regulation


Kathmandu: The joint meeting of the federal parliament unanimously endorsed the proposal seeking consideration on the 'report of federal parliament's joint committee (work operation) regulation draft committee, 2080'.
Earlier, lawmakers Prem Suwal and Sumana Shrestha expressed their views. Committee chair Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan furnished response to the lawmaker's queries.
The parliament is scheduled to pass the regulation on May 28. For this, the joint meeting of the federal parliament is called for May 28 at 11:00 am. On May 14, the joint meeting endorsed the proposal for the formation of a committee which was proposed by HoR member Devendra Paduel and supported by Ishwori Devi Neupane and Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai. There are 16 members on the committee.
Likewise, the draft report of the Business Operation Regulations of the Joint Committee of the Federal Parliament (FP)-2080 BS has also been tabled in the federal parliament joint meeting. The report was presented by Dhurba Bahadur Pradhan, President of the Business Operation Regulations of the Joint Committee of the Federal Parliament.
The House of Representatives on May 15 passed the proposal to form the parliamentary Committee. The formation of the Committee was proposed by the HoR member Devendra Paudel, and seconded by HoR members Ishwori Devi Neupane and Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai.
Earlier there were 16 members from the HoR on the Committee to prepare the regulations' draft and it was given a full shape by inducing three members on May 23 by the National Assembly.
The committee was assigned to prepare the draft by amending the Business Operation Regulations of Joint Committee of the Federal Parliament-2075 BS within the days of the commencement of the works.
