Prachanda and Modi inaugurate Bathnaha-Biratnagar railway

New Delhi: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and his counterpart Narendra Modi has inaugurated the railway service from Bathnaha, India to Budhanagar, Biratnagar.
PM Dahal and Modi jointly inaugurated the railway and cargo rail by virtually waving the flags from Hyderabad House.
The railway that will reach the Integrated Customs Check Post (ICP) at Biratnagar will bring the raw materials for the Aarati Strips, Swastik Rolling, Hulas Wire, and Premium Steel Industries.
The railway track between Bathnaha and ICP, Biratnagar is 8 kilometers. A demo, for the beginning of the railway services, was done on 8th Kartik, 2075. Testing was also conducted before inaugurating the railway services.
