The map in the parliament is of Ashoka Empire-Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar

Kathmandu: Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has given clarification regarding the map of 'Akhanda Bharat.'

Minister Jaishankar said that the map in the parliament was of Ashoka Empire. Minister Jayshankar supported the previous clarification given by the Spokesperson of the Ministry.

Minister Jaishankar, during a press conference, answered, 'The Spokesperson has already clarified the issue. The lower part clearly indicates the map as that of the Ashoka Empire.'

The new map, in the new parliamentary house of India, portrays the parts of Nepal, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan as its territory, which has created border-related conflicts.

India has requested not to take it as a political issue and take it as a religious sentimental outcome.
