Ukraine expecting F-16 fighter jets

Kathmandu: Ukraine has been found to be lobbying for an 'F-16' fighter to counterattack the Russian military forces.

According to BBC, Ukraine was reported to have been lobbying Western allies for the fighter jet.

The US-made fighter plane was first built in the 1970s. The plane can travel at twice the speed of the sound. The plane specializes in engaging targets from the air on the ground.

The US had decided to supply advanced fighter jets to Ukraine last month. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky had announced it as a historic decision.

The Ukranian military force has been focusing on counterattacks. The country claimed to capture the  villages in Donestk region.
