Muglin-Narayangadh road still closed, thousands of passengers stranded

Kathmandu: Thousands of passengers have been stranded due to the closure of Muglin Narayangadh road since yesterday afternoon.
The Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which has been closed since Thursday due to dry landslides, is yet to be opened.
Thousands of commuters have been stranded as the road, which has been closed since 1 pm on Thursday, has not yet been opened. According to the traffic police, the passengers are starving and thirsty. Those who have gone for urgent work are facing more problems.
The road has been closed due to a dry landslide at bridge number 3 of Ichchhakamana rural municipality-5. Although the landslide was cleared for some time in the afternoon yesterday, the road has remained closed as the landslide has not stopped.
At present, there is a long line of vehicles on the road. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, vehicles coming from East and West to Kathmandu have been stopped in the vicinity of Narayangadh.
Still, there is a problem in clearing the landslide. The traffic police have urged people not to travel through the Muglin-Narayangadh road as it takes a long time to clear the landslide.
