Police intervene in demonstration of loan shark victims; few arrested (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Police have arrested the loan shark victims from New Baneshwor.

The victims were protesting outside the Federal Parliament on Thursday.

The demonstrators were expressing their dissatisfaction against the statute, which was coined to be in favor of the loan shark victims. They have been protesting against the statute for the past three days.

The demonstrators were protesting near Everest Hotel in the beginning. But, police arrested the demonstrators after 18 protestors started sloganeering outside the west gate of the parliament.
