Bagmati province drops transportation fare

Kathmandu: The Bagmati provincial government has dropped the transportation fare. Ministry of Labor, Employment and Transport, under the government, decreased the bus fare.

According to the Ministry, the fare decreased by 2.30 percent for long-distance public vehicles, 2.26 percent for city buses, and 3.18 percent for freight vehicles.

The price of the fare was decreased along with the decrease in petroleum's price. The implied automated pricing system resulted in a decrease in petroleum products.
