Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Anita Devi.

Minister Anita Devi took the oath of office and secrecy. The ceremony was organized at the Office of the President today. According to the Nepal Constitution, the newly-appointed minister shall take the oath of office from the President.

Minister Anita Devi is a Member of Parliament from the Janamat Party.

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Janamat Party Chair CK Raut, constitutional bodies chiefs, chief secretary and security bodies' chiefs were also present in the ceremony.
