Preparation of weighing seized 155 kilos of gold including brake shoes

Kathmandu: The seized gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) is going to be weighed again.

A total of 155 kilos of gold (including brake shoes) was seized in the gold smuggling scandal.

Department of Revenue Investigation placed the seized gold in Taksar (Mint) Division. The preparations are going on to melt the gold and weigh it in the department.

The gold smuggling scandal has created a sensation in Nepal.
