Dang: CPN(Maoist Centre)'s vice-chairperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara has commented on the 9 kg gold smuggling scandal.

Mahara placed his opinion while speaking in a press meeting on Tuesday. He said that he was always ready for the investigation in the case. He said, 'I have always been ready for assisting in the investigation of the case.'

Mahara said that he was innocent. He said, 'I have been asking authorities to call me for investigation. What should I do as they don’t call me?'

He said that he had only talked to a fruit seller in Chinese. Mahara was accused of being involved in the 9 kg gold scandal.
