Hike in public transportation fare

Kathmandu: The bus fare of public transportation has increased.

Department of Transportation increased the transportation fare with the increase in the price of petroleum products, which will be implemented from Wednesday.

According to the Department, the fare of public transportation, freight vehicles, and freight vehicles in Terai has been increased by 4.70 percent, 6.15 percent, and 6.83 percent respectively.

Nepal Oil Corporation increased the diesel price by 14 rupees per liter on Tuesday night. The latest diesel price has become 165.83 rupees.
