Thapa's vote of confidence on 21st August

Biratnagar: Koshi Province Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa will be taking the vote of confidence on 21^st August (4^th Bhadra).

Thapa applied to hold the vote of confidence on 20^th August (3^rd Bhadra). Thapa became the Chief Minister of Koshi Province for the second time on 1^st August (16^th Shrawan).

But, Deputy Speaker Srijana Danuwar postponed the vote of confidence by 1 day. There is no Speaker in Koshi Province Assembly at present. Speaker Baburam Gautam resigned on 1^st August. Speaker Gautam resigned to provide a majority for Thapa to become the Chief Minister.

Deputy Danuwar would chair the session.
