Minister Kirati bereaved of his father

Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has been bereaved of his father.

Minister's father Harka Bahadur Rai passed away this morning amidst the treatment at Bir Hospital, according to the Minister's Secretariat. He was 76. He had been unwell for long and was under the medical care.

Kirati posted a status and a picture along with his mother on his Facebook page. He has given condolence to his father in the status. Kirati even remembered his mother's demise in the message.

As the Secretariat said, the mortal remains of the Minister's father will be taken to his ancestral home at Okhre village in Bhojpur, the district in Koshi Province, today itself to perform the last rites.
