PM Dahal to raise issue regarding pointed spur map in China Visit
China published its new map by placing the old map of Nepal. Nepal had published a map incorporating Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani, just after India had issued its political map including parts of Nepal.


Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will raise the issue regarding the map of Nepal with a pointed spur in his upcoming China visit.
According to the CPN (Maoist Centre) Spokesperson Agni Sapkota, PM Dahal will raise the issues regarding the map during his visit to China.
Spokesperson Sapkota said, 'Why was the map with pointed spur not incorporated? This must be dealt with diplomatically. It has been understood that the previous government had informed China regarding the new map. PM Dahal, also our party Chairperson, is going on a China visit. He will discuss the subject.'
China published its new map by placing the old map of Nepal. Nepal had published a map incorporating Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani, just after India had issued its political map including parts of Nepal.
But, China's new map has been criticized after it chose the old map over the new map of Nepal.
