CIB takes statement of former Vice President's son Dipesh Pun

Kathmandu: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has taken the statement of former Vice-President Nanda Kishor Pun's son, Dipesh Pun, in the 60 kg gold scandal.

CIB took the statement of Dipesh in the suspicion of his involvement in the smuggling case. Dipesh went to CIB's Office in Maharajgunj. The investigation reported Dipesh's meeting with Dawa Chhiring, who is also one of the suspects in the case.  Department of Revenue Investigation had busted 155 kg of gold hidden in brake shoes.

Police have already arrested 25 people, including 6 foreigners, in the gold smuggling scandal.
