UML asks answer from PM on Mahendra Yadav attack case

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) has objected and asked for an answer from the Prime Minister in the attack on Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav.

UML Whip Mahesh Bartaula asked the Prime Minister's answer while addressing the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday.

'A series of assaults and attacks on the main opposition party's leader, while visiting the constituency, started in the past. The Members of the Parliament are being searched and attacked using sharp weapons. The government must investigate such cases with serenity.'

Even Gagan Thapa had asked for a thorough investigation into the case.
