Govt decides to perform last rites of CA Chair Nembang with state honors

Kathmandu: The government has decided to perform the last rites of the Chairperson of the Constituent Assembly, Subash Chandra Nembang, with state honors.
During a cabinet meeting held at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, the government extended sorrow over the demise of leader Nembang and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
'The government took the decision to give national honor in recognition of his contribution to the constitution-making process, said Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation,' Sudan Kirati.
It also decided to give a public holiday on the day the final rites of Chairperson Nembang will be performed. CA Chairperson Nembang died this morning due to a heart attack.
