CPN (Moaist Centre) Mahara submits claim for Chief Minister of Lumbini Province

Kathmandu: Leader of CPN (Maoist Centre) Parliamentary Party, Jokh Bahadur Mahara has submitted his claim for the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province.

Mahara submitted the claim to the Province Chief Amik Sherchan, with the signatures of majority province assembly members.

Mahara submitted the signatures of 44 lawmakers; including 29 from CPN (UML), 10 from CPN (Maoist Centre), 3 from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) and 1-1 from CPN (Unified Socialist), and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

After Chief Minister Dilli Chaudhary resigned on Thursday, Province Chief Sherchan appealed for the formation of new government.
