Embassy of India hosts Kathak recital for celebrating 78th Independence Day (Photos)

Kathmandu: The Embassy of India in Kathmandu has hosted a Kathak Dance recital.

Arpita Dutta & her troupe performed the recital, as part of the celebrations of India’s 78th Independence Day on Tuesday. The group gave a soulful performance.

Minister for Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation of Nepal Badri Prasad Pandey, was the Chief Guest of the program.

The audience included distinguished members of the Government of Nepal, the Nepali Army, the diplomatic community, the cultural fraternity, the media, and civil society.

The recital mesmerized the audience. The dance troupe will continue their tour with performances scheduled in Birgunj, Hetauda, Biratnagar, and Pokhara over the coming days.
