Foreign Minister Dr. Deuba invites PM Modi for State Visit to Nepal
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Foreign Minister Dr. Deuba exchanged on consolidating Nepal-India relations and expanding mutually; beneficial cooperation between the two countries at the meeting in New Delhi on Monday.


Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
The Foreign Minister also handed over the invitation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli PM Modi for a State Visit to Nepal.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Foreign Minister Dr. Deuba exchanged on consolidating Nepal-India relations and expanding mutually; beneficial cooperation between the two countries at the meeting in New Delhi on Monday.
Earlier, Foreign Minsiter Dr. Deuba, who is presently on an official visit to India beginning on August 18, held a bilateral meeting with her Indian counterpart Dr. S Jaishankar.
The meeting focused on matters relating to bilateral interests and relations between Nepal and India, according to the Minister's Secretariat. The Foreign Minister left here on Sunday for New Delhi at the cordial invitation of Jaishankar, the Minister for External Affairs, in India.
This is her first official visit to the southern neighbor since she assumed the office on July 15. She will return home on August 22.
