The Nepal-India Friendship Council has consistently supported poor and affected communities during previous disasters such as the major earthquake, the COVID-19 pandemic, floods, landslides, and fires. The Council also provides relief to impoverished families during festivals such as Ramadan, positively impacting local communities.
