Police fire tear gas at RSP Cadres in Pokhara

Kathmandu: Police have fired tear gas at Rastrya Swatantra Party (RSP) cadres, who demonstrated against the arrest of RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane.
Chief District Officer Bharatmani Pandey said police fired tear gas after demonstrators attempted to break into the prohibited area on Tuesday.
Police fired 4 cells of tear gas after demonstrators attempted to move towards Shahidchowk from Waichowk, a prohibited area. Rabi Lamichhane, former DIG Chhabilal Joshi, and others presented in the Kaski District Court.
Likewise, Lamichhane was arrested in Pokhara’s Surya Darshan Cooperative Fraud Case on October 18 (Kartik 2).
