Contempt of court filed against RSP leaders
Advocate Anupum Bhattarai filed the case in the Supreme Court on Thursday.


Kathmandu: A contempt of court has been filed against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leaders, for pressurizing the court by giving agitating statements, demonstrating, and attempting to obstruct the judicial proceedings by inciting the public.
Advocate Anupum Bhattarai filed the case in the Supreme Court on Thursday.
A contempt of court was filed in the Supreme Court, claiming that RSP Leaders demonstrated against the court proceedings, while an investigation is going upon RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane for misappropriating cooperative funds.
Vice Chairperson and lawmaker Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Spokesperson Manish Jha, Sumana Shrestha, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Dr. Toshima Karki, Sobita Gautam, Santosh Pariyar, and others are the oppositions in the case.
