First hearing of Kulman Ghising’s writ scheduled for Friday

Kathmandu: The first hearing of a writ filed by Kulman Ghising against his dismissal from the position of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director, has been scheduled for Friday.

The Supreme Court registered the writ petition, filed by Ghising through a representative in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, on Thursday.

Kulman Ghising filed the writ demanding the overturning of the decision of the government and to be reinstated as MD.

Ghising made the Council of Ministers, Minister of Energy Dipak Khadka, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Board of Directors, and newly appointed MD Hitman Shakya as defendant.
