Kulman's writ hearing underway, Shakya's writ in 5th

Kathmandu: The first hearing of a writ filed by Kulman Ghising against his dismissal from the position of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director (MD) has been underway.

Under the single bench of Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman, the hearing is underway at the Supreme Court on Friday.

Ghising filed the writ demanding the overturning of the decision of the government and to be reinstated as MD.

Likewise, NEA MD Hitendra Dev Shakya’s writ also fell under the justice Musalman. Ghising’s writ is in 2nd and Shakya’s in 5th.

First hearing of Kulman Ghising’s writ is scheduled for Friday

Shakya claimed that he was not entitled to the position, mentioning details on how he was previously dismissed just like Ghising.
