Refusal to issue interim order on Kulman's writ

Kathmandu: The Supreme Court refused to issue an interim order on a writ filed by Kulman Ghising against the cabinet decision to dismiss him as Managing Director (MD) of  Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

Under the single bench of Justice Abdul Aziz, Musalman while hearing upon writ, refused to issue an interim order on Friday.

Kulman Ghising filed the writ demanding the overturning of the decision of the government and to be reinstated as MD.

Ghising made the Council of Ministers, Minister of Energy Dipak Khadka, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Board of Directors, and newly appointed MD Hitman Shakya as defendants.
