Kulman's writ hearing underway

Kathmandu: The hearing of dismissed Managing Director (MD) of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising is underway.

Under the joint bench of Judge Kumar Chudal and Nityananda Pandey, Ghising's hearing is underway on Wednesday.

Likewise, NEA MD Hitendra Dev Shakya’s writ is the 2nd number.

The hearing of the writ was held under the joint bench judge of Chudal and Pandey on Tuesday, however, the hearing couldn’t take place and was kept unseen.

Kulman Ghising filed the writ demanding the overturning of the decision of the government and to be reinstated as MD.

Ghising made the Council of Ministers, Minister of Energy Dipak Khadka, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Board of Directors, and newly appointed MD Hitman Shakya defendants in the writ.
