Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has directed the lower-level committees to complete the convention on time.
Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti issued the directive through a circular to ensure the timely completion of the convention. Burlakoti's instructions include writing letters to the provincial, district, municipality, and ward levels to form committees, launch necessary organizational campaigns, and mature the organization before holding the convention.
RSP postponed its central convention, originally scheduled for Baishakh, to the coming Falgun.
According to the new schedule, conventions for wards are set to be held by Asoj, municipalities by Kartik, districts by Mangsir, and provincial conventions by Magh 15.
'The schedule should be prepared in such a way that the convention at each level under your responsibility can be completed on time, and the arrangement should be made for submission at one level. This directive must be communicated down to the ward level, and the proposed schedule for all provinces should be sent to the central organization department by 15th Baishakh 2082,' states the letter.
