Kathmandu: The CPN (UML)’s 10th Central Committee meeting has officially begun.

The meeting commenced around noon on Wednesday at Rambagh Mahal, an event venue located in the Bhainimandal area of Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

The three-day meeting will discuss party Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s political proposal, along with various other issues.

Time has been allocated for the presentation of the chairperson’s political report and for Central Committee members—grouped by sector—to express their views.

This is the first Central Committee meeting of the party since Oli was ousted as prime minister last month in the wake of Gen Z protests.
