Fulpati in Dashain Ghar (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Fulpati has been brought in Dashain Ghar of Hanumandhoka Durbar. On the seventh day of Navaratri, Fulpati was brought to Dashain Ghar on Saturday. 

There is a ritual of bringing Fulpati from Gorkha to Dashain Ghar on the day of Saptami. Every year, 6 priests of the Magar community, including the priest of Dashain Ghar, bring the Fulpati from Gorkha to Jiwanpur, Dhading. And 6 priests from the Brahmin community, from Kathmandu, bring the Fulpati from Jiwanpur to Jamal. 

There is a ritual of high-ranking civil service offices, platoons of Guruju, musicians, and cultural dancers bringing the Fulpati from Jamal to Hanumandhoka with a huge celebration.
