Kathmandu: On the occasion of Fulpati, the Nepal Army observed the traditional Fulpati Parade at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel.

On this occasion, the Army presented rifle and cannon salutes, while helicopters showered flowers and displayed a banner reading “Fulpati Parade–2082”.

The ceremony featured the national anthem performed by the military band, honor guard drills, salutes by various battalions, and a march-past.

President Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, ministers, and other dignitaries were present at the event.

Every year, on Saptami—the seventh day of Bada Dashain, also known as Fulpati—the Army organizes this parade at the Tundikhel Pavilion with fanfare.
