Election officer office established in Biratnagar for upcoming NA election


Kathmandu: The Election Officer office has been set up to view for upcoming National Assembly Election in Biratnagar.
The election office was inaugurated by the Election Officer and District Court Morang's Chief Judge, Durga Prasad Dhungel, as a voting station for Koshi Province.
On the occasion, the Election officer said, all sides would extend cooperation in peacefully holding the election along with discussions to hold with the representatives of the 12 political parties registered and with the Election Commission for the NA member election.
Likewise, an Election will take place in Koshi province for two seats in the National Assembly in the upper house of the Federal Parliament which includes three hundred and sixty-seven persons, including 93 Province Assembly members and 274 mayors and deputy mayors of metropolises, sub-metropolises and municipalities, and chiefs and deputy chiefs of rural municipalities, will be voting in the upcoming NA election on January 25, 2024(Magh 11).
