Rabi Lamichhane’s detention hearing concluded

Kathmandu: The detention hearing on the case of misappropriation of the Supreme Saving and Loan Cooperative fund and organized crime has concluded.

The detention hearing was concluded, after defendant Rabi Lamichhane’s lawyer, the public prosecutor delivered their argument under the single bench justice Prahlad Kumar Yogi on Sunday.

Now,  Justice Yogi will either order to keep Lamichhane in remand for investigation, release him on bail, or release him on the date of attendance.

According to a court source, a verdict might come by today.

A case was filed against 42 people, including Lamichhane in District Court Rupandehi on Sunday. The case has demanded more than 40 million (4 crore) rupees from Lamichhane.
