Sahara Cooperative Fraud Case: Rabi Lamichhane’s statement recording concludes

Kathmandu: The statement recording of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, in the Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited’s fund, has been completed.

Lamichhane’s recording statement began at 12:45 p.m., under a single bench of Justice Chitwan Court Justice Dayaram Dhakal, on Wednesday.

Chitwan District Court Information Officer Amrit Bishwakarma said that Lamichhane's recording statements were completed and preparation to hold a detention hearing was going on.

On Tuesday, a case was filed in Chitwan District Court, against 15 people, including Lamichhane for embezzling the funds of Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited.
