Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) has expressed anger after the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) obstructed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s address in Parliament.
CPN (UML) Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula demanded Speaker Devraj Ghimire to remove the activities carried out by the RPP from the Prime Minister’s address from the parliamentary record.
'As per the parliamentary regulations, time was requested to speak, but there was disruption. Responding to anti-constitutional activities, obstruction was created. No one has the right to act against the constitution and parliamentary regulations. This activity should be removed from the record,' said Chief Whip Bartaula.
The Chief Whip stated that the opposition was making a mistake by obstructing Parliament.
