Rabi Lamichhane to file complain against police's brutality in NHRC

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane will file a complaint to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)against police brutality

Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha said the representative, on behalf of RSP Chairperson Lamichhane, will go to NHRC to file a complaint on Wednesday.

Police arrested former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Lamichhane in his residence in Budhanilkantha on Friday.

RSP leaders and cadres object to a  Police officer asking for the last wish. RSP said the incident was Police brutality and a violation of human rights.

Likewise, Lamichhane was arrested following an order of The Udaypur High Court, Butwal, in a cooperative fraud case.
