Nepal GoodWeave Foundation holds 30th Social Audit


Kathmandu: The Nepal GoodWeave Foundation (NGF) has marked a significant milestone by conducting its 30th Social Audit in Kathmandu, reinforcing its mission to end child labor and ensure supply chain transparency.
NGF President Ubaraj Bhandari chaired the event and featured National Human Rights Commission Secretary Murari Prasad Kharel as the Chief Guest.
Calling for stronger collaboration among the government, private sector, and rights organizations to eliminate child labor, Commission Secretary Kharel praised NGF's rescue and rehabilitation work.
Special guests from the Social Welfare Council, local municipality, and NGO Federation acknowledged NGF's impact and pledged continued support. The audit included a review of programs and future goals, with commitments to strengthen monitoring and child protection standards.
The inclusive session brought together government officials, NGOs, beneficiaries, and media. President Bhandari concluded by stating that all feedback from the audit would guide the Foundation's plans.
