Kathmandu: People are rushing to return home on the day of Fulpati. A huge number of people leaving the Valley and returning home can be seen at Bus Park.

People, who reside in Kathmandu Valley for employment, study, and other purposes, are eager to return home during the festive season.

On Thursday morning, people were bustling in the streets of Koteshwor and Jadibuti to catch their buses. Mostly the passengers, going towards eastern parts of Nepal from Koteswor via Araniko Highway and BP Highway could be seen hopping on the long-route buses.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Ramsahpath, the number of people leaving the valley crossed 0.9 million (9 lakh).
