Kathmandu: The streets of Kathmandu Valley have become empty after the people went to their homes to celebrate Nepali’s main festival Bada Dashain.
More than 1.2 million (12 lakh) people left the valley this year, to celebrate the festival. Only a few people and vehicles are seen on the streets, whereas grocery shops are also being closed.
Likewise, shops are also being closed in places like New Road, RNAC, and Bhadrakali, which used to be crowded by the people.
